Our opening times are:
8:00 am - 6:30 pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday
8:00 am - 8:30 pm Wednesday day and Thursday
Your call will be answered by a pre-recorded message which will give you a number of choices, so that you can select the service you need. If you have any difficulty following the instructions then either press 2 on your telephone, or wait on the line and your call will automatically go through to a receptionist. If your call can wait, please avoid calling the practice between 8.00 and 9.30am. This is our peak time for incoming calls and consequently the queuing time for held calls is longest.
The secretaries are available to take calls between 9.30am to 11.00am and 2.00pm to 3.30pm.
Messages for Doctors and Nurses
Clinical Staff cannot take outside calls whilst holding surgeries or clinics. Telephone requests for advice or information should be made before 11.00am. Receptionists will take details and, if appropriate, the Clinician will call back after the morning surgery, usually between 11.00am and 12.00pm, although it may be later if the surgery runs over.
Please make sure you are available when they ring as they will not leave a message unless you’re answerphone message clearly says your name, for reasons of patient confidentiality, nor will they make any further calls.
